Founded in 2017 by Roland Berger Amsterdam, Tenzing is a long-term partner in actively supporting success stories of ambitious entrepreneurs
At Roland Berger Amsterdam, entrepreneurship is in our DNA. Our drive for entrepreneurship started over 25 years ago at TU Delft, where students could make use of our expertise in turning their innovative ideas into ventures. Ever since, we have been supporting hundreds of entrepreneurs in their road to success. To take this to the next level, Tenzing was founded in 2017. At Tenzing, we focus on ventures within Roland Berger’s areas of expertise.

At Tenzing, our focus lies on ventures in quickly changing markets that we truly understand. We acknowledge that this is where our intellectual capital, well-established network and extensive resources have the most impact.
VentureBuilding
Supporting inventors with everything that is needed to build a successful venture out of their ground breaking idea. We validate technological and commercial opportunities, jointly create a business plan, build a team, find fnding and start the venture
Start upto scale up
Supporting entrepreneurs as involved shareholder to scale up their venture. We jointly develop growth strategies and compelling investment cases, design the (minimum viable) processes and organizational setup needed, explore new market opportunities, extensions of the business model and coach the entrepreneur and venture team
CorporateVenture Building
Supporting large corporates in identifying ideas that have the potential to disrupt industries but cannot flourish within such a large company. We validate ideas, make business plans, find a CEO, create a venture team, develop prototypes, setup funding with the corporate and then jointly start the venture.
Zombieventures
Supporting ventures, their founders and investors in diagnosing why their venture is not growing at either the desired pace of at all. This lack of growth can be caused by multiple reasons (e.g., team, strategic focus, operational efficiency, etc.) but jointly with stakeholders we aim to implement change and find a path to grow.

We bring extensive experience and hands-on support in select industries, where we deploy our own know-how, proven methodologies, complete toolboxes, and broad international network among corporations, academia, investors and governments. We don’t just make plans or give advice – we become an actively committed, minority shareholder with a long-term horizon.
